Original Relief Print

Weavers Teasel, a spiky seed head historically used to “tease” out wool fibers, grows along a River near my home, the Jordan River.

A particular clump of them catches my eye on my daily walks with my dog. We’ve had a mild winter in the Western United States, and while I was eager to see these beautiful forms dusted with snow, I never saw them covered with those tiny ice crystals. But they remained a constant, ever stiff stalks, strong spikes, reflecting burnt umber in afternoon winter sun.

This print honors the simple beauty of places often disregarded.

One framed print available in a beveled smooth black wooden frame with UV protective glass.
